Research before you go research

What will be my next step as I believe our company have collected good amount of prospective customers data. I am confused where to start and how to start pitching online? This was the questions I got in previous week email from few of my readers.

I know, you have had go through number of lead generation processes and now you are anxious to contact your new customers. Before going to make any blast related to upcoming offers, before you describe your product, before you commit about your services… May I warn to go for a short research based on the data that you have collected so far!

Follow these steps as you can quickly and simultaneously

  • Make a category (Industry-wise) list for all precious data.

  • Do some amounts of researches for all categories in accordance with their current market need, past customer feedbacks, try to show some future trends from reliable sources.

  • Design a variety of your upcoming products/services(only model) just match for customers who belongs to metro, urban and small city regions. Such designs can be achieved after studying life style constructively as per current Indian scenario.

  • Draft one compelling letter. Include office emails (with telephone number for free customer advices).

  • Make a call before sending emails/online-docs to all parties located in metro cities.

  • Use hard copy posts for outstations and long distant recipients. And follow an email for the same with in 4 days.

  • Include one point that seems to be undisclosed/undefined with regards to offered product in your first approach.

  • Use the stats from your past year campaign activities if any.

  • Make available all the details online/PDFs/webpages and use a query form which help to capture asker data including their post/designation and size of company (in a range of workers i.e. 5-10, 10-25, 25-50 etc).

  • Simultaneously, plan and work continue for a new or replacement product incase if you not get satisfactory response after 2 or 3 follow-ups.

Hopefully, impacts of above will come with drastic results. But never forget to do research before if you are going to plan any new research. We will lighten up more in coming topic How to research online especially in Indian market and off course with new tools and techniques.

In meantime you can research with us if you have something to discuss right now.

Talk soon.
